Taranis stared at her for a moment, trying to figure out what her motives were. Why after all this time did she want to help him? Nonetheless, he decided to comply out of hope that she wasn't pulling his leg when she said she could bring him back.
"I'll answer your questions honestly," he told her and Gaia smiled widely, but then he asked her, "Will you forfeit our deal if you don't like my answers?"
"My word is my pride," Gaia told him. She knew she might not like some of his answers, but she was happy that he was willingly going to shed some light on why he did certain things in the past and why he forgave his brothers, but never forgave her.
