"Outside," Alia muttered. The scent of the ash wasn't burning her nose, but she felt extremely uncomfortable sitting in the ash of the dead and being in the presence of their remains.
Alia tried focusing her attention on other things and would try not to look at them, but each time she would unintentionally look at the charred corpses, she would hear their screams echoing in her head.
"A breath of fresh air would be good," Alia told him before releasing her hold on her jacket and touching her feet that were stretched out before her.
The pale skin of her short legs was dirtied by the ash she had to scamper through and the blood that seeped from the bruises created from her crawling on her hands and knees against the hard concrete.
"My feet look okay," she started. "But I'm actually unable to use them, so I wouldn't be able to accompany you if you truly wish to take our conversation outside."
