With his brows furrowed, Taranis stared intently at Alia while trying to do some calculations. 'If the thing between Alia and Oliver happened at least a year ago and pregnancy is usually nine months, shouldn't she be near or past her due date already?'
'But what if...' His brows gradually rose with his widening eyes, 'That one time a year ago wasn't the only time, and the last time they've had sex is actually a lot more recent than we thought?!'
To him, it was the only logical explanation! Why else would her tummy not start swelling yet?
'But,' Taranis started. He glanced once more at Zelda who had her back turned to him before slowly lowering his upper body to put his head on Alia's naked stomach. 'Maybe she's not pregnant.'
