"Oliver," Anabel started, meeting his silver eyes before returning her gaze to Alia's small face. "Who is this little girl?"
'Little girl?' Alia thought as she pursed her lips. Her black eyes narrowed at the attractive, red-haired woman as she spoke, "I'm not a little girl."
Anabel was taken aback by the mature tone of the small person in Oliver's naked arms. Her voice was small and soft, only slightly deepened and matured by her British accent.
"Anabel..." Oliver started, and she looked at him. "This is Alia," he introduced before saying, "And Alia, this is my girlfriend, Anabel."
Anabel's eyes threatened to pop from her skull as she asked, "Alia, as in...the most powerful shaman in all the worlds and realms?!" She couldn't believe her ears; unless she was jumping to conclusions again.
"Yes," Oliver responded.
