Amaira was stronger and faster than Rose, as expected of a ghoul made from the potent venom in Elias' fangs.
The pale-skinned ghoul screeched and struggled as Amaira sunk her sharp nails into its throat, pressing its body into the wet, black soil. The sound of rapid footsteps caught Amaira's ear and she was momentarily distracted as she looked behind her, her blood-red eyes narrowing as she looked about the dark woods.
Amaira looked at the ghoul at her mercy as if making a silent promise with her blue eyes that she will kill her, before taking off further into the dark woods.
Rose whimpered like a beaten dog as she got up, her wounds healing slower than that of an average ghoul. She intended to finish Mikayla, but the second she stood, a pale-skinned woman with a slim figure and a few strands of hair on her head suddenly ran by her, ripping her apart in the process.
