"He didn't betray you, Ara; you are his only girl, and if you only knew how much I wanted to grab this opportunity to be with you and tell you to forget about Tyler, I don't want to be selfish," Neil said as I covered my mouth with my hands since I wanted to scream.
"I couldn't believe you would just run off like that, Arabella. I thought you loved Tyler enough and were willing to fight for his love. You have all the right to ask Tyler what happened because you are his girlfriend, right?" Neil asked, and I was speechless.
"That is the problem with women, and I don't understand why you will easily give up and blame everything on the male species." He added.
"If you were in my shoes, do you think you would be laughing watching your girlfriend kissing another man? Would you be happy? What would be your reaction, Neil?" I asked when I finally found my voice.
"Well, of course, I will get angry," he softly replied.
