"I'm glad you love it." Sly smiled, "Pop said you might not like it."
"Why?"
"I don't know." Sly checked the time, "let's go."
"No. I want to admire the car some more. You can't expect me not to do that, could you?"
"Don't you want to go to school? I can take you to my workplace if you wish to skip classes."
"No." I hastily shook my head, "I can't afford to be late for classes. Miss dev— the teacher won't be happy with me should I miss class."
The devil incarnate has been investigating how to oppress my life. I can't give her more reasons to do so.
"Why?"
"I have classes. And an assignment I need to pass today."
"Do you want me to speak to your lecturer for you?" Sly led me to the car and opened the door for me.
"No. I will survive. You don't have to do anything like that for me."
"Are you sure about it?" Sly smirked.
