"Yes, I'm through with classes. Are you coming over? I thought you had a late meeting?" I frown, although he can't see my expression right now.
"I postponed the meeting. Don't worry, I will be there in ten minutes," Sly said in a reassuring tone.
"You don't—"
"Marli asked me to get some things for the house, on my way home. We can do some grocery shopping while at it."
"Okay. I will be waiting for you at the normal spot, under the large tree."
"Roger that. I love you, Lee."
"I love you too, Sly."
It sounded a bit cheesy saying those words out loud. But when my husband is involved, I will do everything to make him happy.
"See you in a few." He said before he disconnected.
"Your husband loves you." Brit playfully nudged me, "I wish I can have someone half as caring as your husband."
