"Are you ready to order?" The smiling female came back. This time, she came with a cupcake and dropped it in front of me. "This is a free dessert from the restaurant. You can have it after your meal."
"Thank —"
"He doesn't need it. Should he have any reason to want a dessert, I can provide it for him. You can take your cake." Sly looked up from the menu he had his face buried in.
"Thank you, I will have the cake." I smile at her.
"I'm glad you do."
"You are taking nothing from her." Sly dropped both menus on the table and stood up. He dropped two bills of dollars on the table and took my hand in his.
"Those are for the inconvenience, we are leaving." He dragged me up from my chair.
"What are you doing?" I tried to remove my hand from his, but he didn't budge.
"We are leaving, and that's final. I would rather not waste any time." Sly said as he dragged me to the door, despite the looks we got from the people in here.
