Seeing the old man's flustered reaction, Matthew leaned back and started drumming his long beautiful fingers against the wooden table, a slightly devilish smile was apparent on his face.

"You old folks have always been like this. Why decide on the next King when the current King is alive and well?" Matthew interrupted the Queen. He then looked at his own father. "Once the current King is dead… then the rest could just kill each other. Survival of the fittest, isn't that right?"
"You— How could you spout nonsense in this court?"
"I told you! He isn't fit to be King! He does not respect the council or the current Royal!"
"The fact that he has a stronger bloodline doesn't mean he is exempted from our laws! We could— "
"And what laws did I break, Duke de Jumio?" Matthew asked. He looked at his father and asked. "Was there a law about telling the truth?"
