Guards…
Experts in Stealth and Assassination.
Ava wondered what guards are they talking about but she kept her mouth shut. She could ask him about it later.
Now is not the time for any doubts.
Ava was confident that Matthew would do everything to protect her. Or maybe. It wasn't something that he told her, it was just her gut feeling.
"Two assassins?" Ava couldn't help but turn her attention to what she just heard. "Is she that desperate to get rid of us?"
"The old tradition was different. They needed the King to kill his siblings. That is obviously a problem for the current Queen." Jude said. It looked like Jude has now familiarized himself with the laws of the Lycans.
"So it was all chaotic…" Ava said.
"Which leaves us to do all the work outside. Go ahead and pack your bag, we are going to leave." Matthew was smiling as he said this.
"Where are we going?"
"Not them…" Matthew said. "Just the two of us."
