With her palm on her mouth, Luna took some slow steps back, fathoming what grandma Li meant by ordering someone to end a woman's life; who was the woman she referred to?
The door squeaked open and it was too late for Luna to swivel around; her eyes snapped in panic as well as shock at grandma Li's presence at the doorstep.
"Grandma…"
"What are you doing here? You should have rested in your room."
"Can we talk?" After a few seconds of pondering, through her ducked chin, grandma Li concurred and her hand signaled her to enter her private room.
