Natasha had not even changed her clothes after returning home from work when she received Yasmin's call. Someone was now knocking on the door. She rarely had visitors and wondered who would come to see her. She set the phone down and walked over to open the door.
It was Declan, who arrogantly stood there with his hands inside his pockets, his shoulders straight.
Natasha was stunned to see him. She assumed Declan had taken Yasmin out to meet her parents, but he was standing right in front of her.
'With whom did Yasmin go out if he is here?' She wondered dazedly and shuffled back her steps.
Declan entered the room gracefully, one step at a time. "You appear to have seen a ghost," he scoffed.
Natasha blinked, befuddled. At this moment, Declan was really like a ghost to her. She was not expecting him here. She wanted to ask him if Yasmin had gone out alone, but she ended up asking, "You… w-what brings you here?"
