Alexander took Julia to a posh restaurant. The restaurant manager greeted them and led them into a private chamber.
The chief chef prepared the food, which Alexander had already specified. He came and served the food in no time.
Julia dazedly looked at the various dishes served on the table. She anticipated conversing with him for a while before placing the order and then waiting for the chef to prepare the food. That was how she was used to it. It was the first time she noticed that the food was served as soon as they walked in.
She was even more surprised when she saw Xander begin to eat.
'What is the point of bringing me here? He could have eaten at home if he was that hungry.' She gaped at him incredulously.
