Declan realized Earl had already made up his mind. He couldn't stop him. Even if he tried to stop him, Earl would find a way to escape and go to rescue Mr. Young and Clara. It was a wise decision to include him on his team.
"All right. You are in. We will work on it together. First of all, move in here."
"Moving in here? Why?" Earl was astounded.
"I cannot arrange security everywhere," Declan grunted. "Natasha and the babies will be safe here."
"I can arrange the security for them," Earl stated adamantly.
"We are not dealing with some ordinary thugs. These are gangsters… ferocious and deadly. Bring them here. You can go back to your home once the matter is resolved."
Earl reflected on his words and concluded that his family would be safer here. He finally nodded. "Okay. I'll go get them."
"Hmm…"
Earl stood up to leave. "Thank you."
"For what?"
"For believing me."
