The next morning…
Nicholas was the first one to wake up. The first thing he saw was Julia's hand on his chest, with Alexander's hand on hers. He stretched his lips wide and gently put his hands on theirs. Both Julia and Alexander opened their eyes and looked at each other.
Julia pulled her hand away immediately and jumped off the bed. "Um…" She combed her hair with her fingers and tidied her dress. "I-I will go take a bath first." She dashed out and into the guest room.
Alexander sat up slowly, looking at the wide-opened door. He then checked Nicholas' temperature.
A slight fever was still there. He went out after giving him another dose of medication and asking him to rest.
"How did I end up sleeping here at night?" Julia anxiously muttered. "I was supposed to go home."
She then remembered she had not informed her mother yet.
