Several hours later…
When Declan woke up, it was already lunchtime. He got out of bed slowly, not wanting to wake Yasmin. After freshening up and changing his clothes, he walked out.
"Are you going out?" Natasha asked, approaching him. "The food is ready."
Declan looked back at her. The worry in her eyes was clearly visible, and he knew she was curious about Earl.
"I will eat with Earl," he said.
Natasha's eyes widened with surprise. Then relief spread across her face. She smiled a little, saying, "That's fine."
Declan walked out, giving her a reassuring smile.
Julia, on the other hand, was anxious since she had woken up in the morning. She called Alexander, but his phone was unreachable. She was becoming increasingly restless and couldn't focus on anything.
"Mamma. Is it beautiful?" Nicholas showed her a drawing.
Julia was so lost in her thoughts that she had not heard anything he had said.
"Mamma…" He poked her arm.
