Alexander was pleased that Julia had chosen him and stood up to her brother. He felt proud too. He glanced at her, his lips curling. Even though Julia appeared to be furious, he believed he would be able to pacify her.
He reached out to hold her hand.
Julia shoved his hand away and glared at him. "Don't think that I forgive you for what you did. You pointed a gun at Declan. Seriously? You acted like a gangster. Are you really a mafia lord?"
"You don't believe me!" Alexander was shocked.
"After what you did, I am no longer sure. Yasmin's baby shower was going on. You barged into the house and scared everyone. This was unexpected from you." She fretted.
"I acted that way because your brother refused to let me into the mansion," Alexander exploded. "I came to meet you two days ago and was stopped by the guards. That's why I came back with preparation. I also have guards, who are well-trained."
