Declan was all set to go to the police station. Just as he got into the car and started the engine, his phone rang. He checked the phone and found a landline number.
"Hello," he answered the phone quickly.
"Declan, don't do anything stupid," Julia said as if she exactly knew what her brother would do.
"What am I doing?" Declan asked in a frenzy. He was surprised.
"I will come back. Just don't do anything that will increase the tension between you and Alexander, okay?"
Declan sighed and rubbed his brow, then turned off the engine. "Are you okay?" he asked.
"I am all right. He is not going to lock me up. Don't be alarmed."
Both sides of the phone fell silent.
"Is Yasmin all right?" Julia asked slowly. "Did the doctor visit her?"
"She is doing fine… resting."
"Thank God, she is okay." A loud sigh escaped her mouth. "Take care of her. Um… I am hanging up now."
