Renee kept her eyes locked on him, her mouth forming a smirk. She wouldn't tell him the name so easily. Her attitude infuriated him more and more.
Alexander's hands were itching to strangle her to death. It would be satisfying to kill her with his own hands. The rage burning inside his chest would die down. Part of him was constantly yelling at the back of his mind, 'Kill her, kill her…'
It was only his sound judgment that kept him from doing so. He wasn't going to kill her until he got the answer.
"I asked you something," he grunted in an icy tone.
"I heard it," a clipped answer came from her. "I will tell you everything. Before that, you need to release me."
"You still think I will let you go!" Alexander was somewhat surprised at her audacity.
"I can help you bring him down," she offered.
When he noticed the arrogance in her eyes, he cracked a sneer. It was absurd that she thought he needed her assistance.
