Alexander was surprised to learn that Renee had been passing Richard's messages. Everything was clear to him now. The whole thing was a well-thought-out plan to turn Declan against him. In this way, Declan's attention would be diverted to him from Sean, and he would remain busy dealing with him.
He and Declan would fight, and Richard would benefit from it. On top of that, Sean would have time to plan how to strike back.
'Well played, Richard.' Alexander's hand on the armrest curled into a fist.
He pushed his growing rage deep into his stomach and maintained his composure. "Renee is an independent person," he started to say in a calm tone. "She is my elder. I have no authority over her or her actions. I have no clue what she does. Her driver follows her order, not mine. You are interrogating the wrong person."
