It was already late when Declan returned to the hospital.
Yasmin was bored to death by now. She was tired of watching TV. So, she turned it off and checked social media. She lost interest quickly and again turned on the TV, intending to watch a movie.
When she saw him enter, she lowered the volume and scowled at him.
"I want to go home," she demanded.
"You are under the doctor's observation. Why do you want to go home?"
"Because I am bored," she replied almost immediately. "You are aware that I am alone here. Shouldn't you be with me? But you are coming now."
She pouted with displeasure.
Declan scratched his brow. He had been talking with Alexander and then went to check on his parents.
Helena's funeral was to be held the next day. It was going to be a private event. Things needed to be kept secret. The incident should not be covered by any media outlet.
