"It's me; it's me…" Natasha cried out joyfully. The fear left her mind.
She didn't care if Sean returned at any moment and caught her on the phone. She would now yell Earl's name and ask him to come to rescue her.
"Natasha… Are you okay? Did they hurt you? Are the boys all right?" Earl started asking questions one by one.
"We are all fine," replied Natasha. "But I cannot live here any longer. Please come and get us out of here."
"I am coming; I am coming. Just keep yourself and the babies safe."
"I am waiting for you," Natasha sobbed.
"Don't cry. I will be there before you know it."
"I know… Listen…" Natasha's voice suddenly turned serious. "I need to hang up now. Sean may come at any minute."
She subconsciously glanced at the door.
"Natasha…"
"Huh…" Her attention returned to the phone.
"I love you," Earl murmured.
"I love you so much," Natasha said quietly, her throat constricting. "And I miss you too."
