A pang of jealousy pricked her fragile heart. Clara was agitated. She was furious too and wanted to know who that woman was that caught his attention. She would find out and threaten her to stay away from him.
Derrek could only be hers.
She got into the car. "So, you liked someone else."
"Yes…" Derrek grinned, his white teeth sparkling. "She is adorable, sweet, and pretty. Anyone can fall in love with her at first sight. Huh…" He sighed exaggeratedly, putting his hand on his chest. "She stole my heart."
"I see… Then why are you here with me? Go and spend time with her."
Derrek sniffed and turned to face her. "Why do I have the smell of jealousy?"
Clara's face contorted. "You asked me to get in to make fun of me! Nobody makes me jealous. I don't care who you are with. You are free to date as many women as you want. I have no problems. Congratulations on your new girlfriend."
She unlocked the door to get out.
