Olivera thinned her eyebrows when she heard Raul's question. She actually didn't understand it. What was the man talking about? What hurt? She stared blankly at him, hoping that he would explain whatever he meant without shouting at her. Her expectations were dashed the next minute.
"Why are you keeping mute? Are you dumb?! I just asked a question!" Raul shouted, and Olivera's body shook in fear.
"I...I..." Olivera stuttered, trembling terribly, her hands clasped tightly on each other in front of her.
"Stop stuttering like a fool!" Raul shouted again, feeling exasperated with Olivera, whom he thought that the goddess had cursed him with.
The girl couldn't even make a complete statement without shivering.
He glared daggers at her, unsure if his anger rising from the fact that she had been almost raper and bleeding now or that she couldn't give a reasonable reply to his question.
