"I can heal him," Sage offered once they all arrived in the tree house. He shot Gia a look, silently urging her to dress quickly so that he wouldn't have to lose his mind watching her walk around in only his shirt.
Zagan was looking awfully pale. Blood saturated his shirt, and he looked as if he was going to collapse at any moment.
Theo walked him to the bed and helped him lay down. The old man groaned weakly but didn't protest any further.
"You can heal him? Are you sure?" Theo asked, his forehead cleaving in concern for Cora's father. This was his fault. He had allowed him to be attacked. He hadn't kept himself aware enough while he was fighting the other wolf, and now this was the result.
