Graeme and Theo arrived by David's side to see that Bells had been hurt. Her white wolf was lying motionless on her side while David was lunging at every enemy wolf that approached and taking care of each of them with little issue. His fury at having his mate hurt had sent his attack instincts into overdrive.
Graeme, Theo, and Zane helped create a wide circle of safety around her, clearing anyone in the vicinity until the tide of enemies transitioned to a different area to avoid them. Theo shifted back to his skin, pointing out to Zane those who were of the opposing side and how to distinguish between them.
"Do not hurt any of our people, Zane. If you are unsure about which side someone is on, skip that one."
"Understood," he said, and then he was gone.
Graeme and David shifted as well, David skidding to Bells' side. "She is alive," he said desperately and lifted her. "Where is Sage? Can he open a portal for me to medical?"
