Chapter 75 - Camazotz

"Are you able to remove them?" Ambrosia asked, turning her attention to Cora who was still standing in front of her mother.

Cora swallowed, her eyebrows threading together as she faced down the Queen. "I don't know."

"Try it," Ambrosia commanded. 

When Cora looked around again at how many there were, the idea of removing them seemed like an impossible task. Where would they go? Where had the vines gone that she had covered the dining room with?

"Do it," Ambrosia spoke again, the tone of her voice losing whatever patience she had managed to include in it to begin with. 

"Mother," Grayson said when he saw the way Cora instinctively jumped. 

Ambrosia shot him a glare. He was protecting this girl too much. Why was that?

"You think she cannot do it, Grayson?" She asked. "You saw how capable she was of it in the dining room. That is something that none of us shall soon forget, I am afraid."
