Cynthia had fallen asleep before George even reached her other foot.
"You must've been exhausted," George mumbled softly next to her ear then he brushed his lips over her cheek.
He placed Cynthia over the covers and looked at her sleeping figure for a long moment, enjoying her beautiful features, her lovely hair that decorated her pillow, and her plump lips that were slightly parted.
'I'm a lucky guy,' he thought to himself as he looked at his beautiful wife with adoring eyes. Cynthia belonged to George, and soon, her heart will fully belong to him too.
He brushed the back of his hand against her soft cheeks.
"I was hard on you today, but it was your fault for making me so jealous," he whispered. "Now let's take care of you,"
George first removed her towel and placed it over her bedstand, then, he brought a nightgown from her closet and took extra care to put it on her without waking her up.
