It was a day that the married couple waited long for, Cynthia had turned 19 weeks now and they had a check up appointment at the clinic, this particular check up was extra special for one reason.
"Are you ready for it?" Leyla asked mischievously.
George was holding his breath and Cynthia was trying hard not to laugh at her husband's reaction because whenever she laughed while the fetal doppler was pressed against her womb, it blurred out the image on the big screen in front of them not to mention the small one in front of the doctor. That was downright embarrassing.
George held his wife's hand tight as they prepared themselves for the prospect of finding out about the baby's gender. But both of their main concern was for the baby to be healthy.
