Cynthia was busy calling John's nanny to check in on him while George busied himself with observing the surveillance cameras to check for Henry's car before going out, and there it was right where he thought it would be, still parked by the front entrance.
The ex husband got cocky, it was the aftermath of her agreement to settle and going as far as defending him in front of her new husband.
