Chapter 177: Phoenix and Intan conversation
"Thank you, Phoenix," Intan sincerely said.
Phoenix tched, "Mom, what are you thanking me for? I'm the one who should be thankful to you for being patient with me. Thank you, mom," Phoenix said with a spoiled tone in her voice that was so unusual coming from Phoenix.
Intan was surprised, but a wide smile formed on her face, "I think having Ashton in your life is a really good thing," Intan commented.
"Huh? What mom? Why are you suddenly mentioning Ashton?" Phoenix bewildered with the sudden mention of Ashton's name.
"How are you and Ashton? Did he treat you well?"
Phoenix's heart swooned at the thought of Ashton, "Yes, mom. Ashton treated me so well," Phoenix said.
"Really? That's good, but I'm a little unhappy with him," Intan said grimly.
"Why, mom? I thought you like Ashton," Phoenix wondered why Intan was suddenly unhappy with Ashton. Wasn't she supporting their relationship?
