On the same day, Ethan arrived at the Genesis Laboratory early in the morning, before the testing facility had even opened.
He would come as soon as Phoenix gave him her DNA sample, but he couldn't because it was Sunday.
Although he had status in the society, it doesn't mean he could just order people to attend to his request like he owned them.
Ethan tapped his fingers on his lap as he sat in the back seat of his car, his gaze shifting between his watch and the entrance to the Genesis Laboratory.
"Sir, you have a meeting at 10 a.m," Ethan's assistant, Xion Eng, who was sitting at the front passenger seat, reminded his boss.
"Cancel it. Cancel all my appointments today," Ethan ordered.
"But sir, it's an important meeting, and I can't cancel the schedule for today, '' Assistant Eng said, "How about you let me send the sample to the lab, while you attend the meeting," Assistant Eng suggested.
