Katie was standing in a dark corner in a pub with a bottle of beer in her hand. It was the third bottle for her for the night. Since the day that Lola left their apartment, she had been going to the pub to drink every night.
She gulped the liquid from the bottle that he was holding like it was water. She looked miserable. Her newly formed business of selling mobile phone cases faced plagiarism and was forced to close down. She did use art from several artists to be printed on the cases, but didn't give the credits to the artists. A lawsuit was slapped on her face.
With Lola left, her business gone and her friendship with Mia had turned sour, she went to find something to numb her feelings. This was how she ended up in the pub every night, drinking. Not only that, she also has started to turn to drugs to make her forget about her current situation.
She had received the wrath of the Qins' and the Hans', but there was someone else who hadn't punished her for her failure for the scheme towards Mia, and her current addiction was, more or less, initiated by that person.
Right now, she was meeting her usual supplier to get her supply of drugs. But Katie already lost her source of income, and with the lawsuit and her addictions, her money, which was not much in the first place, has run dry quickly.
"Please give it to me. I'll find money to pay you back," Katie said with a pleading eyes.
"No sweetheart, you should pay first." The bald man with a potbelly and yellow teeth looked at Katie with a lecherous smile. "If you don't have money, you can pay with your body." He licked his lips while staring up and down at Katie's curvy body.
Katie was not a virgin even before she was drugged and sent to the red-light district by Ethan for harming Mia, She had her fair share of intimate relationships before, but that didn't mean she was up to sleep with anyone, especially the one who didn't look pleasant to her eyes.
"Come on Dongo. Don't be cruel to the pretty lady. Can you see that she really needs it?"
A man dressed in all black from head to toe came and put his hand on Dongo's shoulder while flashed Katie a charming smile.
Seeing the smile from a handsome man, Katie's cheek turned red. She folded her hands in front of her while pushing her watermelon upward to entice the mystery man who had come unannounced.
'What a good-looking man, I don't mind if I have to sleep with him. At least he has hair and doesn't look like a pig. He did look a bit familiar though, have I slept with him before?' Katie said in her mind while looking at the man and gave him a seductive smile.
This was not the first time for her. Since the first night she came to the pub to drink, there have been numbers of men who come to flirt with her, and it was from them that she learned to take drugs. At first she was reluctant, but after a few convincing words that promised her that her problems would be gone, and a few free drinks by those men, her resolve crumbled. Katie submitted to the temptation, resulting in her current situation.
The man in black in front of her smirked seeing her seductive smile, and whispered something in Dongo's ear while his eyes never left Katie.
Dongo nodded his head and shook the man's hand, and money and drugs were exchanged. Katie's eyes lit up seeing the interactions. Dongo left them alone, knowing his place. The man walked towards Katie, his eyes sharped like a hunter was hunting its prey.
"My lady. Shall we?" The man holds Katie's hand and kissed the back of her hand like a real gentleman. They both didn't need words to agree on what was about to happen next.
In her already intoxicated state, Katie let the man lead her out of the pub and to who knew where.

"Stop? Hahahaha. We are just getting started. No one took my boss's money and didn't finish the job."
"No. I've done what has been asked for. I have done my part. I've lured her there and given her drugs."
"You fail! The plan has failed. She escaped… unscathed! You should make sure the plan went smoothly. Now you have to pay the price."

In her fuzzy mind, because of the alcohol and the dim light in the pub before, Katie didn't realize that the man in black before was the same man who gave her money and planned the scheme to ruin Mia.
The man took her to this room and tied her hands to the bedpost. At first she thought that the man had some kind of kink, but when she was splashed with water to make her sober, she saw the man's face clearly. The man was looking deathly at her while holding a black leather whip, making her body chilled in fear.
The man in black name was Black, as he was usually donned in all black attire. He was one of 'that person' secret minions who was responsible for contacting people who were involved in a scheme to ruin Mia.
When the plans failed, he was one of the people who had to face his boss's wrath and he was also tasked with making those who failed his boss get their due.
'Nobody deserves misery, sometimes it's just your turn.'
When he saw Katie go to the pub and drowned herself in alcohol, he slowly made other people enticed Katie with drugs to make her addicted to it. He couldn't make Katie suddenly disappear as that would raise some questions, but he could slowly ruin the girl and made her disappear as per his boss' instructions.
His boss' initial plan was to shake the Qins' and the Hans' by making a scandal and ruin Mia's reputation. Not only Black's boss wants to make the Qin feel like a loser for failing to protect their precious young miss, but his boss purposely planned it at Camellia Hotel to make the Hans feel as bad as the Qins as the scheme should be happening in one of the Han's hotels. But the planned failed and both the Qins' and the Hans' were more alert than before, making any scheme on them almost impossible.
Katie, who was subject to the torture, was cursing Mia to the hell and back. She promised herself that if she could get out of this, she would find Mia and make Mia pay for her misery.
