"Brother?" Mia was surprised to see Ashton there.
"Mia? What are you doing here?" Ashton asked with a scrunched forehead.
Ken, who heard Mia's voice, dashed towards the door, and his eyes widened.
He switched his sight from looking at Mia to Ashton.
Ashton tilted his body to the side so he could see both Mia and Ken alternately. His face turned dark, and he glared sharply at Ken.
"Don't tell me the person you talked about last night is my sister?" he asked in a menacing tone.
The air surrounding them had turned cold, sending chilly air to the other two's skins.
Ken looked at Ashton unfazed, "Yes. It was Mia," he answered confidently, "she's my girlfriend," and turned to look at Mia with a gentle look.
Mia's eyes widened in surprise and her cheek dusted with a pink blush at hearing Ken's brave declaration. The gentle look that Ken gave her made her heart swoon with happiness.
