Phoenix blinked her eyes and looked at her phone. Mia must have been irritated by Ashton, making her hang up the call from Phoenix.
Phoenix noticed Ashton stroll down the building's stairs and toward her car a few minutes later.
Deep wrinkles developed on Phoenix's forehead when she realised Ashton was wearing yesterday's clothes.
Phoenix pushed open the door and exited her vehicle. Phoenix hugged Ashton as soon as he got to where she was standing.
"Were you out all night?" Phoenix asked, looking up at Ashton, who was a head taller than her.
"I went out to drink last night, got carried away, and ended up here," Ashton said, wrapping his hands around Phoenix's body.
"Were you seeking Mia's self-defence teacher because of what Sky asked yesterday? and accidentally discovered he was dating Mia?" Phoenix inquired.
