Ethan and Tiana were holding hands and walking by the seaside after their scrumptious lunch.
"Darling, I'm so full. These are all your faults." Tiana rubbed her stomach and pouted her lips at Ethan.
'You are the one who ordered our food but why is this my fault then?' That was what Ethan was thinking, but no way he was going to say that out loud. Whatever his girlfriend says was the truth!
"Yes Baby, it's my fault." Ethan said while looking at Tiana gently.
Tiana knew that it was on her and Ethan was just being the doting boyfriend as he always was and submitting to her antics, but she was not complaining, she would indulge herself in his tenderness towards her.
"Where are we going?" Tiana looked around and asked. They have walked quite a long way from the main building of the resort.
"I told you we are going for a swim and snorkelling."
"Shouldn't we go back to our room and change first?"
"Nope. Just come with me."
Ethan brought Tiana to a yacht pier and Tiana was astonished by seeing the number of yachts that were lined up at the jetty.
"What are we doing here?" Asked Tiana.
"We are going on a yacht today."
"Is this you and Ashton's beloved, L'amor?" Tiana has heard about the boat that Ethan and Ashton treasure since their teenage days. Even after all these years, they have taken good care of the yacht and had made some upgrades on it.
"Yes. Come. Be careful."
"It's beautiful." Said Tiana, looking at the boat that was in front of her.
With Ethan's help, she boarded on the yacht safely.
"Amazing," she praised again.
"Let me take you to tour the yacht." Holding Tiana's hand, Ethan led her to every nook and cranny of the yacht.
Ethan had hired a few crews to help him pilot the yacht and for other things that he had planned to do on the yacht. After everything was ready and accounted for, they began to leave the jetty towards the deep blue sea and headed near the Coral Bay where he wanted to take Tiana for swimming and snorkelling.
It was around an hour later that they arrived, and Ethan and Tiana didn't wait for long for them to jump in the water and have fun.
The water was so blue and translucent, and the view from the bay was breathtaking.
Tiana and Ethan looked at each other lovingly, enjoying each other's company while playing with the fishes.
Tiana swarmed near Ethan and pecked on his lip, Ethan didn't let Tiana go and pulled her closer to him and showered her with butterfly kisses all over her face, making Tiana's giggled in happiness. To tell the truth, he was really nervous, but when he kissed Tiana and saw her smile and laughter, he felt much more at ease. He could feel that Tiana loved him as much as he loved her, and that gave him some assurance.
They have fun in the water for some time until they thought they have enough, and got on the boat to get themselves dried, clean up and change their clothes and get ready to dine on the deck while viewing the sunset.
Ethan was wearing a khakis slack and a white shirt with a few top buttons unbuttoned to showcase his upper chest, and his sleeve folded till his elbow. As for Tiana, she was wearing a mid-length yellow summer dress with floral patterns, and a straw hat with her hair falling nicely at her back, making her look sunny and fresh.
They both were leaning on the railing of the yacht looking at the sunset view of the sea.
"Darling, the view is so beautiful"
"Yes, it's beautiful. The view is beautiful, but my view is even more beautiful."
Tiana turned to look at Ethan when she heard that and saw that Ethan was looking at her with a piercing gaze, like he wanted to devour her alive. When she understood his words, her heart warmed and fluttered and heat crept out on her face, making her face turn as red as a cooked lobster.
"Oh Ethan, you are a sweet talker," she bashfully said while covering her red face with her hands.
"Baby, I'm just stating a fact. You are so beautiful. I feel so lucky that you are mine." Ethan pulled Tiana closer to him by her waist, took off her hands that covered her beautiful face and looked deeply into her grey-colored eyes.
"Tiana, my baby. We have been together for five years. I was the happiest when you accepted me to be in your life, to share your joy, your success, your problems and your sadness. I'm happy to share mine with you. You accept me for who I am and what being with me will mean to you. You trust and your faith in me make me fall in love with you over and over again. When you're with me, nothing else matters. I love you for all that you are, all that you have been, and all that you will be. If there's another life after this, I will still choose to love you again and again. You are my past, my present, and my future."
Ethan lose his grip from Tiana's waist and held her hand gently and kisses it, he then took out the ring box from her pocket and kneeled on his one knee and opened the box revealing the three stone ring that he had chosen, while still holding the hand that he kissed.
"Tiana Chu, would you accept my past, my present and my future and be my wife? Would you marry me?"
Tiana's heart already melted when Ethan said his sweet love to her and she gasped in surprise when she saw Ethan pull the ring box and kneel on his one knee and asked her to marry him. Her tears voluntarily fell hearing his intention to marry her.
Tiana was sniffling in happiness, he choked on her saliva, making her unable to answer Ethan promptly, but she nodded her head repeatedly and after taking a minute to pull herself together, she managed to utter a "Yes."
"Yes. I accept your past, your present and your future and marry you. I love you so much, Ethan."
Ethan's smile was blinding at hearing Tiana's acceptance of his proposal. He took out the ring from the box and put it on Tiana's finger and he stood up and pulled Tiana into his embrace. He looked at Tiana lovingly, his hand on Tiana's cheek wiping off the tears that wet her delicate face and slowly he captured Tiana's soft pink lip with his warm ones. He first nibbled on her lower and upper lips alternately slowly, then he increased the intensity of his kiss. The taste of her strawberry tinted lipstick made him trace her lips with his tongue, asking for permission to slide in his tongue into her mouth to dance harmoniously with hers. Tiana closed her eyes, fully absorbed with the toe curling kiss that Ethan gave her.
The proposal and the kiss were captured by the crew of the yacht and after they have enough moments to capture, they quietly left Ethan and Tiana alone for them to be indulged in each other's love.
It was just a perfect proposal that Tiana had always imagined since forever. To think that Ethan would take the effort to make the proposal special for them was making her feel that every word that Ethan uttered towards her was nothing but the truth. It filled her heart and soul with so much happiness.
To love is nothing, to be loved is something, and to love and be loved is everything.
