Stacks of pancakes with blueberries on top, drizzled with maple syrup, ham and cheese omelette, baked beans and sausages were displayed on the dining table.
"Is this enough? Should I cook another dish? Should I make french toast? Wait, should I bring this to the bedroom?"
Phoenix was thinking out loud, when Ashton walked into the dining area.
Ashton looked at the dishes on the table. The amount of the foods that Phoenix had cooked could feed four people.
"I think this is enough, Ms Li, and I'm fine with eating at the dining table."
Phoenix snapped her head towards that voice that startled her.
Her mind must be in a disarray as she failed to sense Ashton's presence behind her.
"Mr Qin, you're here."
