Phoenix's hand was hovering around the keypad.
"You can use your birth date as the code." Ashton suggested. He secretly wanted to know when her birthday was.
But Phoenix's hand that was on the keypad froze when she heard that, and her eyes slightly shook.
Those didn't escape Ashton hawk like eyes that never left Phoenix.
"Or any number for that matter." Ashton said. He wondered why there was such a reaction from Phoenix when he mentioned birthday. He thinks there's so many things that he had learned about Phoenix tonight that made him interested to discover more about her.
What's beyond this impassive girl. He wondered.
Phoenix chose a date that she considered important to her. It's a date that gives her both joy and sadness. A date that she considere as another milestone in her life.
