They all looked at Intan to get a clear answer.
"So… her sister passed away?" Tiana asked.
"Yes," Intan said with a sad smile. "I've met Melrose a few times. She was a lovely lady," Intan added.
Intan remembered the beautiful lady with hazel eyes. Melrose had come to see Phoenix a few times in the office to send her lunch boxes. She will not only bring lunch for Phoenix, but she will give them to those who were in the same office as Phoenix hoping that they will take care of her little sister, who was awkward with everybody.
"Do you know how she died?" Mia asked. Mia feels pain in her heart just hearing about Phoenix who had lost her sister. Phoenix was really pitiful, not only that she didn't have a parent, but she even lost the only family member that she had.
"Yes. Melrose…she died because of—"
Intan didn't manage to continue as they heard Phoenix's footsteps coming towards the living room followed by the patter of Sky's small footsteps.
