Yarin's POV:
Azazel had disappeared, and my spiritual world was like his backyard. He could come and go as he pleased, which made me feel extremely humiliated.
The gap between him and me was so huge that other than using my mouth, I couldn't find any other way to teach him a lesson.
But now, I have no more scruples.
Boundless coldness penetrated my entire body. I felt like I was in the solid ice of the North Pole. My skin felt like ten thousand needles were piercing it. My internal organs were being cut into pieces by the cold blades. My bone marrow was frozen into ice shards and pierced my flesh. My blood became countless nails going through a long and slow process in my body.
It hurt. It hurt so much.
The unbearable pain made me want to scream, but my throat had already lost its original function.
