Chapter 9 - Chap 9: Cries

"I can't believe it! Quest of Barbados is really ending?" exclaimed a person, their voice filled with disbelief.

"How is this even possible?" questioned another, unable to fathom the turn of events.

"Those heartless individuals! How could they do such a thing to our lead editor?" cried out a man, his anger palpable.

"Hey, why can't they just find a new editor and keep the game rolling?" someone casually asked, trying to wrap their head around the situation.

The response was immediate, filled with passion and a hint of outrage. "Are you kidding me? No one can replace Huma Koar and his mind-blowing graphic editing skills! Without him, this MMORPG won't be the same, with all its captivating features!" another player retorted, shooting a fierce glare at the person who raised the question.

Feeling the urgency, Adrien declared, "I'm logging off right now to show my support! This game means so much to me!" With a tap on his screen, his game avatar vanished into thin air.

Bake nodded vigorously, echoing the sentiment. "Count me in! I love this game to the core. It can't just end like this." And just like that, Bake's character disappeared too.

The weight of the news hit Kui hard. She slumped onto the ground, frustration boiling over as she slammed her hand down. "All that effort we put into completing this quest, only to find out the game's coming to an end!"

Joining in the exasperation, Hitono added with tears in her eyes, "This is so unfair!"

Kui chimed in, her voice filled with disappointment, "Hours of gaming time, all gone to waste."

The group shared a collective sense of frustration, feeling the weight of the countless hours they poured into the game, now seemingly gone in an instant.

"But you know what? Despite all this, it was still a blast!" Hitono giggled, and Kui couldn't help but stop crying, a small smile forming on her face.

Kofi, fueled by frustration, yelled passionately, "That's exactly why we need more of this game!" Frustration turned into action as Kofi stomped his feet and unleashed a wave of magical explosions.

Observing the rare sight of Kofi losing composure, Adrien muttered to the group, "It's not often we see Kofi get this fired up." The others nodded in agreement, captivated by Kofi's rampage.

Bake, with his arms crossed, commented, "Indeed, Kofi usually remains composed most of the time." His nod signified his support for Kofi's outburst.

Hitono let out a wistful sigh as she looked up at the sky. "I really hope they manage to save their lead editor. I want to see exciting new updates in the future."

"I'm right there with you. I refuse to let all those hours of grinding go to waste. Count me in to help rescue their editor!" Kofi exclaimed, and Kui joined in with equal determination. Kofi swiftly logged out of the game.

"See ya!" Hitono waved at them, bidding them farewell as Kui followed suit and logged out as well.

Adrien grinned wildly and declared, "We'll meet again in the next update, folks!" Hitono nodded, sharing the enthusiasm before pressing the logout button and disappearing from the virtual world.
