In the room, Qin Yan went straight to shower. Earlier when she came back, she was covered in sweat. Then the argument in the living room delayed her freshening process and now she was feeling extremely itchy. Being a clean freak, she couldn't stay even a minute without cleaning herself.
After the shower, she laid on the bed and stared towards the ceiling. Suddenly, her stomach growled. She was extremely hungry since she hadn't eaten anything after lunch. She wanted to have dinner but she didn't have any more strength left to deal with her hypocritical family.
So, she went to the kitchen and brought some fruits to her room. Thankfully, she didn't encounter anyone and could come to her room peacefully. She ate the fruits and happily went to bed.

The next day, while returning from the school, Qin Yan saw a traffic jam on the road. When she moved further, she realised that an accident had occurred there. A car had run off after hitting a woman in the '40s. People had called the ambulance. But the condition of the woman seemed serious.
When she went through the crowd, Qin Yan saw a woman in her 40's covered in blood with scratches all over her body. Her clothes were torn off.
People around her were taking pictures and video of her. She was wailing in pain but nobody came near her to help her. They were waiting for the ambulance, as all they could do was to wait. They didn't want to touch her, because it would dirty their clothes.
That's what people did, they made videos and posted them on the internet raising questions on government and criticizing the society, but they wouldn't help when the said person needed it. Instead, they stood there like mannequins and took videos.
Qin Yan stepped forward. Because of her huge body size, everybody gave her way as they didn't want to get pushed by her. It was fortunate that she changed her school uniform into a sportswear. This was done by her so that she could walk or run easily from school to her home.
If she had been in school uniform, nobody would have let her pass, much less touch the injured woman. Because of her huge body size and acne filled face, nobody was able to tell her real age.
When Qin Yan covered the lady with her scarf and lifted the latter's hand to examine her pulse, People looked at her with questionable eyes. They were wondering, 'Is she a doctor?'
Ignoring other people, Qin Yan continued to check her.
The woman's condition was critical. She indeed had multiple fractures. But it was not the main problem. The main problem was.... she was pregnant. At this finding, Qin Yan's eyes widened in shock. She was one month pregnant and it seemed to be a case of late pregnancy. And this accident could harm her child.
She wanted to ask the woman herself if she was aware of her pregnancy, but she was not in a state of answering.
She then pulled her bracelet from one side and a silver needle came into sight of everyone. Everyone was shocked. They looked at her, with bewildered expressions.
Qin Yan then uncovered the woman's stomach area. And placed her hand on the abdomen and closed her eyes. She was like a human x-ray. Her senses and skills were so amazing that when she placed her hand on her stomach she started imaging her body and positions of her organs and found a point which had to be treated.
Then she took the needle and stabbed on the side of the stomach. The expression on everyone's faces was horrified. They looked at Qin Yan like she was stupid. Who stabs needles like this. It's like killing the person.
But there was one person in the crowd, who was looking at her intently. Because he knew what she was doing. But the point was how could she do it without any tests or monitors. Because the acupuncture originated in ancient Chinese, its method has been evolved by the time.
Now they used machines to figure out the places of acupuncture. People had evolved and they had become more dependent on the machines rather than their skills and insights. So he was wondering how could she do it without any help.
At last, Qin Yan pulled out the needle and put it inside her bracelet.
At that time ambulance also came with a team of paramedics carrying a stretcher. Then they started putting the woman on the stretcher. As they were leaving, Qin Yan went to them and called the head of the team.
She told him, "She is one month pregnant. The condition of the fetus was not good. So I treated it with acupuncture. But it still needs attention and proper treatment so be careful. And inform the doctors in my stead. Thank you". As she said all this, she turned to leave.
But the officer interrupted her and asked, "Ahem, Miss are you an oriental doctor?" Officer wondered how does the woman know all this.
Qin Yan replied, "You can say that" and left.
