When Qin Yicheng came out of the principal's office, his head was lowered with shame. He didn't know whether he should be sad for misunderstanding his daughter or should be glad that Qin Yan had befriended influential people.
On the other hand, Lu Yaran's eyes were filled with hatred. She could not comprehend how the situation turned out to be this way. Qin Yan was supposed to be blamed but instead she was praised highly for her actions by these influential people.
Qin Muran was standing outside in the hallway waiting for her parents. As soon as she saw them, she ran over and said, "Dad, I know sister is in the wrong but you should keep calm. She might have done all this impulsively. If she apologized, everything would be fine."
Qin Muran was very gleeful in her heart. She wanted to see Qin Yan suffer. However, she wondered where Qin Yan learnt her skills and how come she stood out in the crowd.
Qin Yicheng glanced at his younger daughter. All this misunderstanding was caused by her. He lost his face in front of so many people because he was misled by Qin Muran.
He was furious but still he calmly asked, "Qin Muran, do you know what exactly happened? Why did Qin Yan beat those boys up?"
Qin Muran had a bad premonition after hearing her father. Obviously she knew the reason behind the fight. Everybody in Grade 12 knew that Han Jun and his group had provoked Qin Yan. But she couldn't tell this to her father.
"I..I don't know the exact reason. But sister should not have beaten anyone," Qin Muran still tried to blame Qin Yan.
Qin Yan was watching her so-called family from a long time. After hearing their conversation, she came over. She sneered in her heart and said coldly, "Qin Muran, next time before you talk about me, please ask me what the matter is. Half knowledge is more dangerous than no knowledge. I hope you keep my words in your mind." After saying her piece, Qin Yan walked away without looking at anyone else in the group.
Qin Yicheng glared furiously at Qin Muran and stormed away with Lu Yaran in the tow. Qin Muran stood there alone with a loss.
"Nowadays, children of this age are also good at scheming. We people were very backward that we only focussed on our studies," Qin Muran heard Mother Jiang's voice behind her.
"You are right, you should not judge a book by it's cover. Some people look so beautiful and considerate but are rotten from inside," Mother Xing added.
"We should remind our boys to maintain a considerable distance from such people. Who knows, otherwise when they'll get eaten up," Mother Jiang said while glancing at Qin Muran.
Mother Xing replied, "Yes, you are right. Sigh! I didn't expect to encounter this in school. Let's go."
Qin Muran heard the two mothers talking and clenched her hands into her fists. She was extremely angry. 'Who are these people to judge me!' Her eyes filled with tears of indignation and she ran outside.

A middle-aged couple was seated in the spacious living room. The man looked refined and noble while the lady looked graceful and elegant. Both of them had an extraordinary temperament and although being in fifties, they didn't look older than thirties.
But currently their faces were filled with worry. If one looked closely, you could see dark circles under their eyes and fatigue in their postures.
Xi Qinghe saw his son walking to and fro in the room and felt his head spin.
"Xi Jung, what are you doing roaming to and fro. Get your ass over here and sit properly," Xi Qinghe scolded his younger son.
Li Gui also supported her husband, "Son, What did the doctor say? It's been more than a month but Ting has not woken up. Tell me, what exactly is going on?"
Xi Jung was extremely worried. It had been more than a month that his brother was injured. Initially, his brother was in danger, but after being operated, he surprisingly survived. In these few days, his wounds were also healing slowly, but he still did not open his eyes.
