When Xi Yaohua glanced at the gorgeous figure in red standing on the stage, he was stunned. Being a young master of an influential family, he had seen many beauties but this one clicked differently with him.
Pointing in the direction of Qin Yan, he asked Qin Muran, "Muran, won't you introduce your friend to me?"
Hearing Xi Yaohua's request, Qin Muran's face turned unsightly. She looked at her boyfriend and saw his eyes twinkling while gazing at Qin Yan.
Qin Muran suppressed her anger and said in a sweet voice, "Brother Hua, don't you remember Elder sister?"
Xi Yaohua looked at Qin Muran confusedly. Even in his dreams, he could not relate Qin Yan to this gorgeous lady. His face was full of question marks as he gazed at Qin Muran, implying her to explain clearly.
Looking at her confused boyfriend, Qin Muran said, "This is Qin Yan, my sister. Don't you remember her?"
Hearing Qin Muran, Xi Yaohua was stupefied. 'This is Qin Yan? How could it be? Wasn't she a fat woman? When did she gain such a glamorous figure?'
Qin Yan sensed a gaze on her and looked around to find Xi Yaohua staring at her. Her lips curled up sarcastically. As she was wearing a mask, nobody saw her expression. 'I will make you regret your life, Xi Yaohua, just you wait!'
Xi Yaohua, in a daze, walked towards Qin Yan. Seeing this view, Qin Muran gritted her teeth in hatred, 'This slut! She is seducing Brother Hua again. No matter what, I have to stop her, otherwise all my efforts will go down the drain.'
Before Xi Yaohua could reach Qin Yan and wish her, Qin Yan walked away. Han Jun and others also followed her and sat on their respective seats.
The guests greeted Qin Yan and wished her one by one. She thanked them warmly and left a good impression on most of them. Obviously, there were some people who could not say anything good about others. They mocked her in some or the other way but Qin Yan ignored them.
On the other side, Xi Yaohua was extremely depressed. Qin Yan walking away from him after seeing him was something he had never expected. After the incident of rejecting her, Qin Yan didn't speak to him usually but she also did not ignore him blatantly.
Previously, he could see sadness emanating from her eyes but today when their eyes met, he could see nothing. It was as if she didn't care about anything related to him. This feeling gave him a sense of loss. He could not accept that Qin Yan had forgotten him.
Moreover, her figure had mesmerized him. Although she was wearing a mask, but it didn't conceal her beauty. He wanted to speak to her but was bound to be disappointed.
Beside him, Qin Muran and her friends saw everything. Mu Yuyin came to Qin Muran and said, "Muran, I think that ugly bitch is trying to seduce your man! Be alert!"
"Yuyin, how can it be like that! I know my sister. She is not somebody who would seduce her future brother-in-law. You must be mistaken," Qin Muran said gently.
Mu Yuyin looked at her best friend and sighed, "Muran, you are too kind. But this doesn't mean that everybody is like you. Besides, don't you see how slutty her figure is! It looks like she is deliberately dressed for bewitching men."
Yang Lin also added, "Yes Muran. I think Yuyin is right. Normally she roams around in such unsightly baggy clothes but today look how she dressed herself. By the way, before today, none of us realised that she would have lost so much weight."
Qin Muran looked at Qin Yan and said to her friends, "Isn't it good that sister has lost weight? Now she also seems confident and I am not afraid of her embarrassing our family anymore. I am glad that she has regained her looks, but it's just that I am not sure about her face."
Hearing what Qin Muran said, Yang Lin's eyes lit up. She glanced towards Mu Yuyin and saw that both of them were on the same page. 'Qin Yan, aren't you being arrogant today. We will show you your place so that you won't dare to leave your house.'
Nobody noticed a ruthless glint flashing across Qin Muran's eyes.
The party progressed forward and the time of coming age ceremony came. Both the sisters went onto the stage again.
The emcee announced, "Now we will be starting the ceremony of coming to age. I request Young Master Qin to come on the stage and brush his sisters' hair. Please welcome, the young master to Qin Family, Qin Mufeng, with an applause."
Qin Mufeng climbed on the stage and looked over at his sisters. He couldn't imagine that his little princesses were adults now. They used to roam around him with their short legs calling him brother in their sweet and cuddly voices. Now they grew up so quickly and would be married someday.
Thinking of this, his eyes filled with tears. He controlled himself and smiled at the two sisters. He then proceeded to comb their hair one by one, thus completing the ceremony.
