Draco stared at Rosina and walked closer to her. He grabbed Rosina's hand and pressed it gently.
"Don't you feel anything? Like a spark where our skin is connected?" Draco asked and looked closely at Rosina's expression.
Rosina opened her mouth to speak, but no words came out. She was hesitant about what to say to Draco but didn't know what to feel.
'I could feel the spark,' Rosina thought, but she couldn't say it out loud. The fear of admitting the connection between them was eating Rosina's mind that Draco might have been her mate all along.
"No, I don't feel anything," Rosina lied and pulled her hand away from Draco. She turned around to escape his gaze.
"Rosina—" Draco whispered and wanted to hold Rosina's hand again, but a knight called out for him.
"Your Highness, you have a visitor," the knight said outside Draco's tent.
"Okay," Draco replied as he kept staring at Rosina's back before going out.
