Felissa and Vicenzo entered the pack house, and the members all looked at them with surprise. It took a few minutes before Felissa convinced them to keep their mouth shut from mind-linking her parents.
They were currently walking toward Alpha Aroldo's bedroom, Felissa's father.
"Are you ready?" Felissa asked when they reached the door. She looked at Vicenzo nervously, and cold sweat formed on her forehead. She was nervous about introducing Vicenzo but wasn't ready to face her father's condition. Based on her mother's mind-link, Aroldo was in a terrible state and was closer to his deathbed.
"I am," Vicenzo replied with a tight smile. He was worried but didn't want to show it to Felissa. He also noticed her nervousness and discomfort based on her facial expressions. Unconsciously, he pulled her into a tight hug. "Don't worry too much, no matter what happens. I will be here for you," he added.
