"Ah!" Felicia took deep breaths while leaning down against the tree. In front of her was Paku trying to catch her breath as well. They ran away from the pit as fast as they could when they heard multiple footsteps coming their way.
"Tell me, Felicia. What are you doing in this pack, and what are your intentions?" Paku asked seriously as she crawled toward Felicia. She had shown her card and wanted to know what she could get in return.
"To stop the war from happening. We don't need more useless deaths on both sides," Felicia replied without hesitation. It was her purpose in the first place.
"Eh! That's boring and basic. Almost everyone doesn't want another war to occur after what happened last time," Paku sighed while shaking her head. She indicated the last war that overthrew the Old Monarchs.
"Yes, but if we don't stop it, there will be more bloodshed," Felicia said and clenched her fist.
