Felissa kept fidgeting with her fingers while worrying about Vicenzo's safety. Her brain kept producing images that caused her anxiety.
Vinicio and Draco looked at one another and stared back at Felissa. They were concerned that it would affect her well-being.
"Luna, we should go back to the Midnight Pack," Vinicio stated softly, but Felissa shook her head.
"No, I will stay here for a couple of hours before travelling to Lightcrest Pack," Felissa explained and stood up. Her eyes showed determination and patience to wait. She wanted to be sure that if Vicenzo decided to come back, they would open the door, and she would greet him.
"I believe Sir Vicenzo will never come back here. He will reach the end of the Trial," Vinicio stated confidently.
"How can you be so sure?" Felissa snapped back. He didn't like how Vinicio dismissed the thought that her mate might return.
