Vicenzo didn't move from his spot, hoping the gigantic bird wouldn't take him as threatening. He stepped backwards to attempt in creating a distance between him and the creature, but to his incredible luck, he stepped on a twig.
*Crack*
The creature shrieked loudly, creating a wave of strong currents.
Vicenzo contracted his muscles to make sure he wouldn't be flown away. He took out his sword the moment the creature attacked him.
The bird's claws were made of gold and sharp enough to chop Vicenzo's body in half.
"Oh, Sh^t!" Vicenzo cursed and retreated. He jumped to the side and used the wall as his shield. He realized the creature was more potent than he had thought.
'How can they live here!?' Vicenzo thought and tried to make sense of the situation he was in. His only explanation was that the creature flew out of the Labyrinth and hunted food from the forest, which would make their appearance known to the wolves.
